This leader will drive measurable revenue growth and enterprise value for Panoramic Science, a multi site, private equity backed clinical research network specializing in CVRM industry sponsored trials. The Senior Director will implement and actively use CRM systems, analytics, and performance metrics to manage pipeline health, forecast growth, and support PE level reporting and strategic decision making. Learn more at Panoramic Science Fully remote opportunity, with expectation to travel up to 50%.Commercial Strategy & Value CreationDesign and execute a scalable commercial strategy aligned with PE growth objectives, value creation plan, and exit readiness.Drive growth in total industry-sponsored studies, awarded trials, and repeat sponsor business across all network sites.Implement and apply CRM team tool to support sales and business development processes, streamline pre-award processes, track and report business development metrics to communicate progress.Establish clear prioritization of sponsors, CROs, and programs based on revenue potential, strategic fit, and executional feasibility.Partner with executive leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and growth planningWork cross-functionally with peers in operations, finance and regulatory affairs to ensure alignment and execution of growth objectives across all necessary business units within the site network.Sponsor & CRO Revenue GenerationOwn senior-level relationships with biopharma, large pharma, and CRO partners.Lead proactive sponsor and CRO engagement focused on portfolio-level partnerships, preferred site relationships, and multi-study awards.Position the network as a high-performing, scalable partner through data-backed performance narratives, outcome metrics, and marketing collateral.Represent the organization in strategic sponsor meetings, scientific conferences and other industry forums.CRM, Analytics & Performance ManagementLead implementation and disciplined use of a CRM platform to manage pipeline, sponsor activity, and award outcomes.Define, track, and report key BD KPIs, including pipeline value, win rates, cycle times, sponsor concentration, and revenue forecasts.Build executive- and board-ready reporting to support PE oversight and performance reviews.Use quantitative insights to continuously optimize commercial strategy – including targeting, conversion, and commercial efficiency.Operating Discipline & Cross-Functional AlignmentEstablish standardized BD processes, tools/ templates, and playbooks to support scale and consistency across sites.Partner closely with feasibility, operations, finance, and site leadership to improve award conversion and execution readiness.Translate sponsor and CRO feedback into operational and capability improvements that support sustained growth.Qualifications10+ years of business development experience in industry-sponsored clinical research.Prior experience in a clinical research site network or equivalent multi-site research organization.Proven track record of driving study awards and revenue growth with biopharma, large pharma, and CROs.Strong CRM expertise (e.g., Salesforce or similar), including pipeline management, forecasting, and analytics.Highly quantitative, metrics-driven approach to business development.Deep familiarity with CVRM clinical trials and sponsor/CRO decision dynamics.Executive presence with the ability to operate effectively in a PE-backed, performance-driven environment.Experience operating within or alongside private equity–backed healthcare services organizations.Experience scaling commercial functions during periods of rapid growth or platform expansion.Exposure to M&A integration, sponsor consolidation, or portfolio-level contracting strategies.Keywords: Business development; clinical research; leaderThe Company is committed to the principles of equal employment.
