We combine advanced analytics, AI-driven tools, and disciplined execution to support carriers, owner-operators, and enterprise logistics customers.As the company scales, we are expanding our finance team to support data-driven decision making, improved financial visibility, and strong operating discipline.Position OverviewThe Financial Analyst will work directly with the CFO to support financial planning, analysis, reporting, governance, and operational decision support across the organization. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong analytical capability, financial modeling expertise, and disciplined execution.The role combines financial analysis with structured oversight responsibilities to help ensure the company maintains accurate reporting, documentation, and governance standards as it scales.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Build and maintain financial models supporting budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planningAnalyze revenue, margin, and cost drivers across business unitsTrack key performance indicators and operating metricsSupport annual planning and rolling forecast processesPerformance ReportingPrepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting packagesPerform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periodsDevelop dashboards and reporting frameworks to improve visibility and decision-makingOperational & Strategic AnalysisPartner with operations leaders to assess profitability and cost efficiencySupport pricing analysis, unit economics, and customer profitability initiativesConduct ad hoc analysis related to fleet performance, labor, and growth initiativesGovernance & Documentation OversightMaintain and update internal governance documents, financial policies, and reporting frameworksAssist in preparing and maintaining board materials, resolutions, and executive documentationEnsure accuracy and version control of financial models and reporting templatesCoordinate updates to governance documentation required by lenders, investors, auditors, or regulatory bodiesSupport the CFO in maintaining compliance documentation across corporate entitiesExecutive SupportAssist the CFO with executive, board, and investor reporting materialsSupport due diligence for acquisitions and financing initiativesContribute to the development of scalable financial processes and internal controlsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field3–6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or related analytical rolesStrong financial modeling and advanced Excel skillsExperience handling confidential financial and governance materialsAbility to turn complex data into clear, actionable insightsStrong attention to detail and structured execution disciplinePreferred QualificationsExperience in logistics, transportation, SaaS, or technology-enabled businessesFamiliarity with KPI-driven operating environmentsExperience supporting board reporting or investor communicationsExposure to M&A or operational finance analysisKey Attributes for SuccessAnalytical and detail-orientedComfortable working directly with senior leadershipStrong organizational discipline and documentation rigorHigh level of discretion and professionalismSelf-starter capable of operating with limited structureWhy Join Spotter LabsDirect exposure to executive leadership and strategic decision-makingOpportunity to help build scalable finance and governance infrastructure in a high-growth environmentBroad visibility into operations, technology, and growth initiativesPerformance-oriented culture where accountability and results matterCandidates who score 75% or higher on the assessment will automatically advance to the next stage of the selection process and be scheduled for an interview with the CFO.
