Trucking Safety, Insurance & Compliance Coordinator -- $1,100 per month

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trucking Safety, Insurance & Compliance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the trucking industry and a strong understanding of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, insurance processes, and transportation compliance standards.This role is responsible for overseeing safety compliance, managing insurance-related matters, reducing company liability, and ensuring that all regulatory and operational requirements are met.Key Responsibilities:Ensure full compliance with FMCSA and DOT safety regulationsMaintain and audit Driver Qualification (DQ) files and compliance documentationOversee accident reporting, investigations, and claim follow-upsCommunicate and coordinate with insurance providers regarding claims and policy updatesTrack Certificates of Insurance (COI) and policy renewalsMonitor safety performance metrics and CSA scoresCoordinate drug & alcohol testing programsSupport audit preparation and regulatory inspectionsManage driver onboarding documentation and compliance requirementsImplement safety improvement and risk mitigation strategiesQualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in trucking safety, compliance, or insurance coordinationStrong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT requirementsExperience handling insurance claims within the transportation industryExcellent organizational and documentation skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesHigh attention to detail and problem-solving abilityWe are looking for a proactive professional who can effectively manage safety standards, insurance processes, and regulatory compliance while supporting overall operational efficiency.Originally posted on Himalayas
