The Revenue Cycle Analyst will be responsible for the development, production and maintenance of reporting for management and executive decision making on a routine basis as well as reporting for operational support. Under general leadership guidance, the Revenue Cycle Analyst will demonstrate proficiency in technical skills and revenue cycle knowledge that will enable them to assess customer requirements, capture relevant data sets, develop visual solutions, analyze results and develop key customer focused insights.Core Responsibilities and Essential FunctionsJob Functions: Reporting and AnalyticsA. Provides financial and operational data analysis to generate insights that advance Departmental,Entity, and System initiatives and improve performance. Develops and maintains reports,dashboards, and balanced scorecards using visual analytics that provide enhanced insight andimprove organizational decision-making.B.

Collaborates across revenue cycle operations and Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst to developimpactful analysis and messaging to assigned customers. Develops personal action plans frommeetings and follow through on assigned tasks. Contributes knowledge to team in a way thatpromotes supportive growth. Attends and participates in team meetings and team building events, isaware and participates in team and organizational activities.C.

Identifies revenue cycle trends in the data that drive process improvements for revenue cycle,assigned departments, and the system. Completes enhancements that positively impact the healthsystem’s bottom line through increased collections and reductions in the cost to collect.Customer SupportA. Understands business impact to simple problems and discusses recommendations in acollaborative environment.B. Develops and delivers impactful presentations for senior executives, departmental and/or hospitalleaders, and/or at meetings with other key stakeholders.

Follows best practices for presenting andutilizes correct template and formatting to provide consistent and easy to understand data analysis.C. Serves as the revenue cycle specialist and liaison for assigned customers, developing solutions tooperational and billing functions through collaboration with Revenue Cycle departments.Core Responsibilities and Essential FunctionsTechnical Support and ExpertiseA. Leads training and education of end users and team members on self-service reporting tools,including preparation of instructional materials such as PowerPoint presentations and proceduraldocuments, in collaboration with Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst. Identifies and keeps abreast ofemerging revenue cycle trends, recommending and designing analyses to enhance the enterprise’scompetitive edge.

Follows up and verifies quality of work deliverables; following prescribed models,responsible for quality review of assigned projects and tasks.
