We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Load Coverage Representative (CSR) to join our logistics team.
The ideal candidate has experience handling day-to-day brokerage operations and can confidently manage carrier communication, load coverage, and shipment tracking in a fast-paced environment.
This role is heavily operations-focused and requires strong communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills.
Key
• Book loads with carriers and ensure timely freight coverage
• Negotiate rates with carriers while maintaining company profitability goals
• Send and manage rate confirmations accurately and on time
• Follow up with drivers and dispatchers to track shipment ETAs and load status updates
• Communicate proactively with carriers regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and issues
• Maintain accurate load updates and shipment information in the TMS
• Work closely with internal operations and sales teams to ensure smooth execution
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and transportation partners
• Handle day-to-day operational tasks related to freight movement and carrier management
• Support Track & Trace (T&T) responsibilities, including monitoring shipments in transit, updating statuses, and escalating issues when necessary

Requirements
• Previous experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics operations
• Experience handling daily freight operations and shipment coordination
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple loads simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with TMS systems or logistics software is a plus

• Working schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
