The Extension operates entirely on your local device. When you click "Apply Now" on a job, you're directed to the employer's website, but we don't track this action or share any information about you.

The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

6.1 Storage Permission

Why we need it: To save your preferences (salary display, auto-load setting) and cache job listings locally for better performance.

What we DON'T do: We don't use this to collect personal data or track your activity.

6.2 Host Permission (jobshives.com)

Why we need it: To fetch the latest remote job listings from the JobsHives API.

What we DON'T do: We don't access any other websites or track your browsing on other sites.

7. Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

7.1 Access Your Data

You can view stored preferences through the Extension's settings panel (click the gear icon).

7.2 Clear Your Data

• Open Chrome settings
• Go to "Privacy and security" → "Site settings"
• Click "View permissions and data stored across sites"
• Find and clear JobsHives extension data

7.3 Uninstall

Uninstalling the Extension removes all locally stored data immediately.

8. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used our Extension, please contact us.

9. JobsHives Website vs. Extension
